Location

Belan Lodge is located at Moone, Athy, Co. Kildare. It is easily accessible by a modern and efficient road network. It is less than a one hour drive from Dublin Airport. It is approximately 11km from Athy and 16km from Carlow. It is located approximately halfway between the Crookstown exit and the Prumplestown exit on the M9.

If travelling south on the M9 towards Waterford take Exit 3 Crookstown. Turn left at roundabout and travel for approx. 2.5km to the “T Junction” at the N9. Turn right and drive approx. 6.25km and turn right. This right hand turn is signposted for the “High Cross Inn”. Travel for approx. 800m. pass the “High Cross Inn “on the left, go around the bend past the left turn for “Kilkea Castle” and take the first entrance on your left. The entrance is located under old beech trees. This leads you directly to the courtyard of Belan Lodge.

If travelling north on the M9 towards Dublin take Exit 4 Prumplestown. Turn right at the roundabout onto the N9. Drive straight through the next roundabout and continue on through the village of Castledermot. Approx. 5 km from Castledermot turn left for the “High Cross Inn”. Continue past the Inn around the bend past the left turn for “Kilkea Castle” and take the first entrance on your left. The entrance is located under old beech trees. This leads you directly to the courtyard of Belan Lodge.
