Over the last 10 years the old courtyard at Belan Lodge has been undergoing restoration work carried by Sean and Liam Lawler and various tradesmen. Old cowsheds, hay lofts, stables, grain lofts and workmen’s quarters have been restored. Through pure hard work and complete insistence that their original design components (beams and wrought iron) and character have been retained as much as possible.
The results of this “labour of love” is there to be enjoyed by all.
